It’s World Hearing Day on 3 March 2025. Many cases of hearing loss can be avoided by safe listening and good hearing care practices. How we hear in the future depends on how we care for our ears today.

The World Health Organisation is calling for everyone to:

• Protect their hearing from loud sounds and prevent hearing loss

• Check their hearing regularly

• Use hearing devices if they need them
